TasBlock (M) Sdn Bhd ("TasBlock") was founded on 14th May 2014. It is dedicated to provide a sustainable solution as an alternative to the widely-practiced reinforced concrete and bricks conventional construction.
TasBlock is a subsidiary of Kumpulan SAKATA Sdn Bhd ("SAKATA"), a TeraS company under TERAJU, where 80% of TasBlock shares is owned by SAKATA and 20% by a Turkish scientist, who invented the resin technology in construction building products.
TasBlock undertakes to manufacture an IBS-status building material, which is green and sustainable, easily assembled, reusable and independent of price fluctuation in cement and steel.
TasBlock believes that we are able to change the landscape of our current construction practices by introducing this highly innovative yet friendly building material.

Started his career in 1984 as a site engineer upon graduating from Cardiff University. He acquired invaluable experience in site supervision and coordination for earthworks, piling, bridges, drainage, and highway stabilisation of slopes. He joined SAKATA in 1996 as Chief Executive Officer. Being in the industry for more than 30 years, he realizes the need for a sustainable solution to replace the current conventional construction, thus establishes TasBlock (M) Sdn Bhd.
An experienced architect who provides strategic input that is crucial in developing new and flexible-designed products. She holds a Master of Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Iowa State University, United States. She was the Project Director in a Design & Build project (the construction of RM 460M UPSI New Campus).
